How It Works:

UV lamps solidify printing inks and coatings by using high intensity ultraviolet light, instead of drying, to initiate the needed chemical reaction - this reaction almost instantly turns inks and coatings into solids, effectively curing them onto whatever substrate to which they were applied. In commercial printing, high-pressure mercury-arc lamps / bulbs and similar designs are used to create the required UV light for the print-curing process.

Noteworthy Benefits:

  • Our lamps achieve the precise wavelengths required for perfect curing in printing applications

  • When operated correctly, our lamps are guaranteed to maintain a high level of curing efficiency for at least 1,500 hours (maintaining 80% of original output)

  • Our lamps are available in widths from 2cm to wider than 400cm at power outputs of up to 700 Watts per cm
