How It Works:

During the process of curing and drying fabrics, textiles often end up too dry, impacting their softness, stretch and weight - this is when the remoistening process becomes important. Baldwin’s TexMoister G2™ precisely applies water to fabrics using a novel spray application system, that can be built up to 2400mm wide and can apply water to one or both sides of fabric or other substrates, like paper.

In operation, a simple touchscreen interface is used to control the system, which features a compact design and no rotating parts. The precision applicator system perfectly sprays water onto the moving roll of material as it is fed through the TexMoister G2™, achieving the precise level of saturation desired.

Each compact, low-maintenance module features no mechanical moving parts, ensuring its smooth operation in the field. Additionally, moisture “recipes” can be stored to replicate results in varying production circumstances, such as when conditions change due to seasonal climate variations.
