ST. LOUIS — September 26, 2019 — Baldwin Technology Company Inc., a world-leading provider of  process enhancement technologies for the labels and packaging industry, is pleased to announce that MACH LABEL Srl, signed a deal at Labelexpo Europe to become the latest company to benefit from the connected Baldwin platform.

MACH LABEL will integrate the entire suite of IoT-connected technologies from Baldwin on their new 10 Color OMET XFLEX 6.0 press intended for high quality In-Mould label production in Italy.

The machine will be installed in November along with pre-treatment, LED UV, 100% Inspection and advanced Color Workflow solutions from Baldwin Technology. These solutions allow an Industry 4.0 overview of the entire process, pulling a full gamut of data from each of the Baldwin systems to quickly surface, identify and correct production quality issues that could be important to a brand owner.

Alongside this deal, MACH LABEL’s affiliated company, BPK Srl, also plans to integrate Baldwin technology on its CI Flexo machines, producing high quality flexible packaging for the Italian market.

Gian Franco Scaperrotta, Co-Owner of MACH LABELS along with his business partner, Siro Cabrele of BPK Srl, note: “We are excited to realize our goals for the ‘Internet of Packaging’ by working together with Baldwin. They are the only company we saw at Labelexpo with the vision and connected platform of technologies to make this a reality for us. It is a real industry first.”
